NUNES TRABUCCO ARCHITECTS
Lucio Trabucco, born in Civitaquana, Italy established residence in the Boston area in 1973 where he studied at Northeastern University obtaining a Bachelor of science in Finance, the Boston Architectural Center obtaining a Bachelor of Architecture Degree, and Wentworth Institute from which he holds an Associate Degree in Architectural Engineering.
Mr. Trabucco, a registered Architect in Massachusetts, in the profession since 1975 has worked with several prominent firms in the area and was promoted to Associate while with Morris Architects. His experience with these firms encompasses a wide range of projects composed of schools, municipalities, research laboratories, as well as, retail and residential buildings. Mr. Trabucco also provides consultant services for various firms in the Boston area.
Active in the community, Mr. Trabucco participates in local youth programs in the greater Boston area and is a former member of the West Roxbury Community Council and the West Roxbury Rotary Club.
Edward Nunes, a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, Washington, D.C., is a registered Architect in the states of Massachusetts, Maryland, New York, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. He has been an Architectural professional in the New England area since 1976 and holds a Masters Degree in Architecture and Building Design from Columbia University, a Bachelor of Architecture from The Boston Architectural Center, as well as, a related Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from Roger Williams University.
Mr. Nunes has over 40 years of Architectural experience. During this period he has gained diverse expertise working on mid-rise affordable and market housing, special needs housing, rehab conversions and renovation projects, research and development facilities, banks, commercial office and retail buildings, as well as, custom residences. He began his own practice in 1988 prior to teaming with Mr. Trabucco in 1992.
Mr. Nunes was Vice President for the Holliston Town Hall Restoration Committee and the Holliston Police Station Committee, as well as, past Chairman of the Holliston Housing Partnership Committee. He also served as President of the board of trustees for Mission Springs Housing for the Elderly, a HUD elderly housing development and is an occasional faculty member at the Boston Architectural Center serving as a Thesis Advisor as well as, a quest studio critic at Roger Williams University.
